Why weren't the two old ladies wearing identity wrist-bands, a routine practice in hospitals around the world?

Obviously she was on her way out anyway. Her life may have been prolonged with a few more weeks of suffering. But there was going to be an inevitable outcome .

This probably has saved the only daughter tens of thousands in medical expenses. 

Credit has to be given to the family who took an old woman home that they KNEW was not a family member.  An amazingly insane situation. ONLY in THailand.

To me most Thais look the same. Sometimes I can hardly tell them apart. Why should Thais be any different?
