Phuket holiday

Will be flying down to phuket oct1 for a week, can anybody recommend a decent hotel near one of the beaches not patong if possible . We will have our 8yr old daughter with us so a pool would be good . I was thinking in the region of upto 2500bht a night.

Under you budget, NaiHarn Beach Resort. Cheap clean adequate good location. Or several two br options on airbnb example below. Walk to beach restaurants etc. Arguably the best beach. Very rough seas in October be warned.

Palm View Resort, Patong is small and German run and has a great little pool and nice restaurant.  From memory, it's 1400Baht per night this time of year. And nice and clean.  It's cheap because it's a 10-15 minute walk to the beach.

Good suggestion.  And try Rock Salt restaurant in the evenings for sunset, nice set up.  At the bottom of the The Nai Harn resort

Patong beach is a swamp don't waste your time or money.
