GrantSmith
That ".cr" site is bogus. It's "up" now, but watch what happens when you try to use it. Maybe some teething issues, but I was able to use it without issue...

Ulysses G.
I like Modern Family, but never got hooked on it. Big Bang Theory is the one that I have to watch as soon as it comes out. Ulysses G.
I don't get the fascination with Penny, although I like the character. She looks very much like my girlfriend when I was in my mid 20s, who I never thought was any big deal in the physical attractiveness department. Bookman might be right about Big Bang Theory not being quite as good this year, but I still enjoy it and I am already hooked. I did not think that Sons of Anarchy was as good this season, because they became so unsympathetic, but I still wanted to find out what happened to the characters.
HooHaa
The Fall. Brilliant. Set in Belfast but not the usual subject matter. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2294189/?ref_=nv_sr_1 thats next for me. tried happy valley as well, but found it irritating and gave up on episode 2. damn, i had already seen it months ago

stat088
Just watched "A walk amongst the tombstones". I am a fan of the Scudder novels by Lawrence Block. If you have not read the books maybe not so enjoyable. Liam Neeson did a good job. I think the first Movie Scudder was Jeff Bridges. I imagined a young Scudder looking a bit like daniel Craig. The older Scudder i imagined he looked like Brian Dennehy. His wife Elaine was always refering to him as his bear.
Ulysses G.
I hate sports on TV, but I love "Friday Night Lights" which has football in a small town in Texas as the back story. I downloaded the first season and - almost - don't want to watch anything else. It has the star of Nashville and the star of Suits and lots of hot young girls and a good story. What else do you need?
Popular Post TheWizardofRnR
Hello TV lovers & haters but The Wizard just watched : The Red Tent ....a 2 Part mini-Series or Movie , of the Biblical story of the Women in Joshua's House , the youngest son of Rebecca & Issac but this tells the tale of his daughter Dinah and Joshua's wives . The Musical Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is based on this same family . What makes this show work , is a excellent cast especially the female leads. Debra Winger was Rebecca , I could not recognize her ! The 100 ......a futuristic , we lived in Space for almost 100 years and sent 100 kids back to earth to suss things out ! Covert Affairs The Flash The Voice Strange Empire Dr. Who will be on at Christmas as usual ! Marco Polo was suppose to start..... I use Sidereel to keep track , here's a link if you'd like to look??? http://www.sidereel.com/profile/bigbill947
Frank James
Are UK police really as "nice" to arrested suspects as they seem to be on The Fall? I keep fantasizing the prime suspect in this series being interrogated by Lt. Dudley Smith's crew from the old school L.A.P.D. (See L.A. Confidential, or (better yet) read the novel by James Ellroy.) Take his butt out to an abandoned motel and loosen him up with a few pats on the back with the 1954 edition of the LA Metro Phone Book. After reading him his rights, of course. The UK police stations all seem so clean, and when there is an interrogation, it's all done so very...civilly. See the excellent series Line of Duty, especially Season 2. A notable exception is the film In the Name of the Father, although I guess those cops weren't Metro, but maybe MI-5?
Popular Post Patsycat
I watched The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies last night. It is a two part ITV drama based on the true story of the retired school teacher who was wrongly accused of murdering a young woman in Bristol a few years ago. I am hating Kickass. If you go into the recent downloads part - you have to trawl through pages and pages of porn!! Also they are slow to have things to download. On PB you were able to find things about half an hour after they have been on TV. Kickass seems to be hours or even a day after. I enjoyed Gone Girl.

I find Kickass to have cleaner files, easy to see the rating out of 10, better links and info, easier sorting options. There is some problem where I have searched for a name and it does not come up, but I have seen it on there, and it appears in a hierarchical general sort. Also, yes, they are slower at getting some releases, and some files are found on PB not KA, But again, some foreign language shows are more readily available on KA than PB. There is a site called torrentz.eu that you can search for a file name and it will show all locations available. Pay or free. Ulysses G.
It might just be that I know how to use Pirate Bay better, but it seems to get more new downloads faster and I find Kickass more difficult to use. I mostly use avi files, so the more choices the better. I often can't find them on Kickass for newer programs.

Yes, but that is a really popular show. I can't find a copy of "Kingdom" - the American one - that I can use and it has been out 3 or 4 days. There was not a lot of choice on PB either, but I could always find at least one download that worked. MP 4 flies do not work on my player or computer and that is all I can find. Episode two, totally naked Chinese girl fighting off three soldiers, and that was just the highlight! 10/10 for this series. Yup, we've discussed both the US remake and the original on here before, and I love them both, perhaps the original a bit better. Both truly excellent.
