A top policeman assured the public that all the police involved in a sensational case will face justice.

There are believed to be seven men involved though it has not been revealed yet how many are serving policemen.

Crimes committed by the police include robbery, murder and abduction.

One of the suspects is now dead - Pol Maj Gen Thanayut Wuthijarasthamrong deputy of Region 1 police said he had been shot and attempts made to conceal the body.

Two other men are in custody with four more sought.

Yesterday one of the suspects - Prathan Srijan or "Boy" 31 was taken on a reenactment to the site of a robbery in Khu Khot, Pathum Thani.

The Nakorn Sawan native was earlier arrested in Sa Kaew province.

Thai Rath reported that during the brief reenactment the suspect repeatedly tried to conceal his face and look down despite being provided with a helmet and visor to protect his identity.

Following the reenactment he was quickly hustled away without talking to reporters.

Maj Gen Thanayut said that this suspect was a scout, lookout man and driver for the gang of seven men.

Thanayut assured the public that all those involved would be expelled from the force and face the full force of the criminal law.

The case is now in the hands of the Nakorn Sawan police.

All police involved in a sensational case, as in, failed to sweep it under the rug

There must be some misunderstanding here....  It's the police who are supposed to arrest the criminals who commit robbery, murder and abduction -- not commit it themselves.

Ohh, wait!!!!   This is Thailand.  Never mind...

Top down or the other way around.

Both have their merits.

all the rest less serious crimes committed will be ignored as it is part of the job

That's what I'm taking from that headline lol

I had to check that it wasn't 1st April, or was it missed timing for this year or too early for next near?

Be prepared there will be nobody left to change the traffic lights. Reminds me on "Last man standing".

55555 Yea,When pigs fly, 5555

Only 'serious' crime. So the other crime is okay?  What or who defines 'serious'...

"Serious crimes" exempt bribery & extortion

Well at least police murderers and heavy duty thieves etc are not sent to Inactive service LMAO

The inactive posts must now be full, so they will have to arrest them ...oh dear, how sad, never mind ...!!!

Crimes that do not involve his friends or other cops that have been involved in or have knowledge of his crimes and corruptions.

Find me a police officer that aint a criminal!

Never mind about 'sensational' cases; what about all the other criminality they are involved in on a daily basis ?

just serious crime or any crime ????  they are the police force

Need to start a 100 year fast building program for new jails ASAP.

think they may need a few.

My crystal ball sees a man with a helmet having a suicide.

555 amazing thailand

Probably they get a new position at a different place...
