I have a flight to Europe on wednesday 16 may at 12:15 pm. Shall I take the 7:00 or 8:00 am bus at Jomtien? Buy bus ticket on tuesday 15 may and same time get a re entry permit at immigration? What do you think?

Thank you.

Obviously the 7am. Only needs a bump on the motorway or delay at the airport. Better to be there than here.

Actually I think 8 am is pretty safe. Good idea to buy the ticket a day before and get your re-entry permit already.

I usually assign a lot of time to be on the same side, but the Bus should arrive at Swampy at 9.45 am which leaves you a lot of time to check in and even endure a traffic jam. If my itinerary was like this, I would have chosen the 8am Bus

You can buy a ticket at the Jomtien bus terminal up to 3 days in advance.  Note that you can board the bus only at the Jomtien terminal.  Unlike the bus arriving from Bangkok, it does not stop on Sukhumwit Road.

Roll the dice

I am the overcautious early bird type and would go at 7 AM.

These Suvarnabhumi queues at check in and immigration are just unpredictable.

Don't beat me if you are through in 15 minutes but I have seen terrible crowds at departure immigration at end of January. One hall closed due to crowding. And that was about 11 AM.

Of course buy ticket and get re-entry permit in time.

You only have tomorrow and May 15 for Jomtien immigration.

Monday May 14 is closed. Both days might be busy.
