First trailer for Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody arrives Tuesday, watch a teaser now

The first trailer for Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody is almost ready to break free, but we have a sneak peek in the meantime.

 

Ahead of a full trailer launch on Tuesday (May 15), Queen have shared a snippet that offers a brief glimpse of Freddie Mercury holding thousands at Wembley in the palm of his hand at Live Aid:

 

 

The likeness of Emmy-winning Mr Robot star Rami Malek to the Queen frontman is uncanny, as he thrusts his arm into the air during the legendary live gig, which attracted more than a billion viewers worldwide in 1985.

 

Bohemian Rhapsody traces the journey of young Farrokh Bulsara into one of rock's greatest-ever frontmen as Freddie Mercury, after forming Queen with guitarist Brian May (Gwilym Lee), drummer Roger Taylor (Ben Hardy) and bassist John Deacon (Joseph Mazzello) in 1970.

I was disappointed when Sacha Baron Cohen pulled out of the film as I thought he would have been the perfect choice but I like Rami Malek - he was great in Mr Robot.
