passport required for domestic flights? I have a Thai DL
I haven't used my passport for domestic flights or hotel check-in since I got my Thai ID card and DL almost 5 years ago. I have flown roundtrip from Buriram to DMK many times since the airport opened, the last being on 9/5-9/8. -

The economics of being a landlord in CA are complicated especially concerning taxation. Watch out for depreciation recapture upon sale of rental properties. If you do sell your rental property try to do an installment sale to spread the profit over a few years. A normal sale can make your AGI in the year of sale very high which will likely incur more taxation in areas like Medicare premiums, investment income, etc. Unfortunately, installment sales are not popular with most buyers as the financing can be difficult. Your expectation is that of a perfectly normal relationship. It raises a red flag if she’s just deciding to go, without even wanting you to go with her. Just making the decision to go, without even discussing it with you raises a bigger red flag. I’m sure the experience of any other couple in a ‘healthy’ relationship such issues are discussed in detail. Given the ‘red flags’ just let her go, she’s an adult & can make her own decisions- but ensure is isn’t going there to cheat on you, because if she is, she could be bringing back STD’s etc (apologies for the brutality of that point, but it must be addressed given the behavior you mentioned). -

Agree, I’ve had 3 restaurants for 40 years in France.Its damned hard work but it pays. I know a few good chefs who have had restaurants in Thailand, it’s a nightmare, and little profit. -

I have a late healthy breakfast , eggs, fruit, cereals , I take my time. Yogurts or Greek yogurt at 17h . Early evening a good meal, no rubbish food. I rarely drink, I walk a lot and swim. But if I want to pig out on ice-cream or a cake, whatever, I do. Rarely tho. In Thai restaurants I tell them no sugar , they’re used to me now., -

The benzo market is huge in the uk. These bars won’t contain any alprazolam (Xanax) at all. Usually it’s another benzo like flubromazolam or Broalprazolam or similar. Pretty hard to tell a difference but the real raw powder is almost impossible to buy. Raws used to be sourced from china but I believe sale now via the black market carries the death penalty there. The reason Pfizer will be upset about it is because the bars look identical to the Pfizer bars. Or how they used to look anyway. -

Visa exempt / married to a thai national
You are probably eligible for various entry / visa types... It doesn't matter which you use, so long as they are legal and you meet the requirements. No issues with a Visa Exempt entry whatsoever - its up to you what you arrive on. If in the rare chance Thai Immigration were to ask you why you don't get a marriage Visa (Non-Imm O) it wont be because they 'need to know' it will only be because they are being nosey... ... the simple answer to that is 'because there is on need, you're only here for 3 weeks'. You will of course want to ensure you meet the return flight and cash requirements, i.e. - Carry a return ticket (with the return within the length of stay limits) - Carry 20,000 cash (or currency equivalent) In short, this one is an absolute no brainer if planning to stay for 3 weeks. You are a tourist, Visa Exempt Entry is designed exactly for this purpose. -
