About as far removed from a Battleship as you can get. Ex HMS Minstrel a 1097 ton "minesweeper" built in Canada. Bought by the Royal Thai Navy in 1947.

  • They should have waited a few minutes before taking that Photo, the guy currently living there is taking a piss out the window

So they're going sink it within the next month then? Anything the junta say, just believe the opposite. It's worked well so far.

The one that most annoys me is journalists writing "runway" when they mean "taxiway" or "tarmac". I mean, FGS, they take planes all the time but they don't know the simplest airport terminology. It's unforgivable given the circumstances of their job, whereas getting battleship wrong is a lot more excusable. Many have probably never even been to sea.

They are called runways in US. But another error is using underway for building projects and otherwise. In that usage it is always two words. Underway as one word is strictly a naval term for boat, ship or fleet movements.
