Visa run for Non-B Savannakhet (Teaching job)

I'm going on a visa run for a Non-B visa (teaching job) in Savannakhet next week.  Do they still require an embassy certified copy of your degree, or are photocopies of the original (or the original itself) sufficient?  When I look at the Savannakhet consulate's requirements, this is not mentioned.

A copy of your degree is all that is required.

Thanks, Ubonjoe.  Yes, I have a police clearance certificate from the RTP in Bangkok.  I could get one from Canada, but my extension of stay will expire before it arrives.  Is the Thai-issued police clearance certificate alone sufficient for the Savannakhet consulate?

May I know if the officer in Savannakhet asked for the Police Clearance as one of the requirements to get the Non-B visa for teachers?
