Codeshare deal promises better timetables and opportunities for north Thailand flights.

Bangkok Airways and Lao Airlines have now agreed on a code shares for flights between Laos and Thailand.

Passengers will gain more flight options and they can book travel to a third destination served by the partnering airlines more conveniently. They will be able to make the through-flight bookings at the one time rather than having to make two separate bookings. Lao and PG also plan to maximise their flight times to allow the most convenient connections.

Bangkok airways are not that bad. They don't charge for in flight service, offer a lounge at most domestic routes, have a rewards system and operate out of suvarnhabhumi.

Yes, so stupid to bad mouth BKK air.

Have had nothing but great experiences with them maybe the best inter country airline.

I use Lao Airlines a lot on the BKK to Pakse route. Although expensive I've never had complaints about the service and the AR7 is a nice plane for short flights.
