I too will be visiting the GF's parents in september. I seem to get on alright with the family, GF keeps showing pictures to every one and they keep saying "handsome man" (sister has even took the photo to my GF's old work (NOT a bar!) and shown every one to the same response. I have spoke to brother and sister, aunties and cousins, uncles. They seem fine with me and have a laugh with me trying to talk to them in thai as they speak no english. I ask my GF if they think they will like me and she says yes. So may be i will be ok. But you now have me worried, What if they dont!

I Too have also been thinking if i should take gifts, and what of and to whom. She has 2 sisters 1 brother. But she does not have a phone at her house so i call on her aunties and they fetch her for me. I call her every day and they have been fetching her for about 2 months and by the time i go will be nearly 6 months. So should i take them something too? And what?

I think really its like every one said, be polite and just do what your girlfriend does and when she tells you, smile and be happy. What more can you do!!!

:o
