Reentry Permit first time

Recommended Posts

Sorry I've just changed my flight back to UK to tomorrow. I need a reentry permit but I have already paid for it and have recepit plus I have photos. Assume I just go to a different passport counter and give my passport in. What if I don't know the date I'm coming back? How long will it take approx(at 6pm)? Thanks

I'll move this to the correct forum.

I don't understand what you mean when you say that you've paid for your re-entry permit and have the receipt, surely if you have those they would have stamped your passport with the actual re-entry permit, which keeps your current stay alive.

Assuming you have it, you re-enter via the normal desk and write the number on the visa section of your arrival card.

If the re-entry permit is not stamped in your passport you don't have it, regardless of what you've paid for and regardless of any receipt. If you don't have it, you can get on easily at Swampy, after security, before Immigration.

Oops! I did say it was my first time! So why did she tell me to apply at airport? Anyway I will assume unless you Gurus tell me otherwise that I just go 'out' as per normal and that I don't need to do anything different(?)

Thanks

I am not so sure. But if that immigration officer said " You have to do at

airport ", that should mean you have to show this re-entry permit at your

re-entry to airport officer.

On TM-6 arrival card, you should fill up your reentry permit No. of

" 2521/61 " in " Visa No. " filed.

Also please check your new permission to stay is till  " 27 JUN 2019 ".

I have no idea what she wanted to say and what you understood.

When leaving the country you have nothing to do.

Before entering (again) you have to enter the number of the re-entry permit as the visa nr. on the departure card and best point the officer to this "stamp".

After passing the checkpoint thoroughly check that your entry stamp (ADMITTED UNTIL) shows 27 JUN 2019.

EDIT: XD1 hit the button 0.764456 seconds earlier

A belated thanks, I'm coming back in a month for the first time on a re-entry permit so will follow your lead! Thanks again
