Answer from Interpol:

"Dear Thailand

please stop sending us these requests!

You are wasting your time!

We don't care for your stupid laws!

Thanks a lot

I don't think Interpol will be issuing a red notice, any time soon, for a satirical pop at the Junta.. You would think that the fiasco in Germany, with the monk, might have given them a heads up

  • Be nice if the same effort was made to hunt down Mr Red Bull. Thats the 'Big Joke' most are worried about, not photo ops for tourist cops.

Surachet reiterated what he had said in an interview earlier in the week that the world's police forces were "One Team"

I was a policeman in Europe for 40 years but for me Thai police is totally outside that "world team"  and I don't want to be compared with any Thai policeman or be in a team with any of them, just the idea would make me sick.,

That is sure going to work as planned...

They might even pick up Yingluck, Boss and the monk in Germany on their way back... or not.. ?

It seems clear to me now that the reference to the intended use of Interpol is just a threat to sound tough to the captive audience that is the Thai people.

Have these guys ever actually approached Interpol, I doubt it.

You'd be surprised if they did approached Interpol after last time.

IIRC was it Yingluk, when they were asking about her whereabouts? They didn't get any help there as it was seen as a political request.

Perhaps all that didn't make it into the Thai press?

edit: Also didn't they request Interpol to arrest the monk in Germany (or perhaps it was only the German authorities for that one?)

I seem to remember there was surprise they could translate that document in a few hours, whereas the red bull heir Interpol request needed two weeks.

There again, I suppose 'monk' is easier to translate than 'billionaire'.

My country will observe that he lives up to his nickname. We don't have draconian laws and can pass comments on any government we like.

The whole world frequently laughing at these Thai clowns and their juvenile antics certainly is more damaging to Thailand's image than the postings of a 56-year-old woman in London ever could.

I am just waiting for the hilarious moment when they start arresting each other for there can be little doubt that their tantrums "represent a threat to the security of Thailand."

The guys and gals at Interpol must have a good laugh, every time a Thai official asks for a warrant. I doubt if one has ever been issued, on behalf of this fake government. The credibility issue does not rest with this woman. It rests with Prayuth, Prawit, Big joke, and the other incompetents within this sorry administration.

Get out. Get out now. You are not wanted by your people. You are incapable of moving the country forward, and your time has run out.

"He also said that those arrested in another fake news case about fuel price rises would only be warned"

What does this mean?

The whole world and all stock exchanges speculate about the oil price development.

And that is a crime in Thailand?

That's really stupid.

Some of their recent press releases have certainly felt like we're living in the twilight zone in Thailand. Some of these lot need to be sectioned.

Oh well, just as I was beginning to like the guy for wearing his underpants over his trousers and running around like a one man anti crime wave, he goes and puts them on his head instead, but not before donning the red nose and the extremely large clown shoes.

This is clearly to blame on the loss of his faithful side-kick who must have also been giving him valuable dress advice, now that she has disappeared he is morphing into the Joker. I suppose that its a large saving on the police budget to only have to print a "J" on his pants rather than "BJ"

Preposterous posing as seasoned , elite detectives going overseas with their hit squad to arrest Thai naysayers . When they cant even control the traffic in their own country

And upon receiving that audacious message Thailand will of course immediately dispatch its usual 13-member police posse to Geneva to arrest Interpol on the grounds of damaging the country's reputation.

Well, there goes any respect that I had for 'Big Joke'.

Respect has left the building, tail between it's legs.

Thailand doesn't need anyone to do or say anything to embarrass it. It does a perfectly good job of showing how backward and repressive it is, every time they open their mouths. Zero chance of getting an extradition or help from Interpol with this stupidity.

True, but I really really want them to pull out all the stops to have this woman extradited. I'm talking money spent, appearances on Newsnight, the works. It would be absolutely hilarious...

He is a BIG JOKE alright.

After making the headlines a few times, people tend to lose the plot. Hence:

I dont know what she is saying....but isnt there such a thing as free speech...

Trying to wrap my head around this one so the Red Bull guy kills a cop does a run but not they want some lady for posting on FB TIT

Interpol to Thailand: We are grateful for the timely comic relief provided regularly by Thailand to the world at large, especially in these trying times.

Arrested for sharing what some nonentity posted on Facebook?

Somebody is cleary becoming paranoid.

Daily News said that 7 people have been arrested for sharing the story. These are believed to be in Thailand.

Twenty others are subject to warrants for sharing the story too.

That's where the real problem is , not the woman in England ... Here in Thailand you can get arrested simply because you shared a story on Facebook !

Better be careful , big brother is watching you ...
