Gen Prawit says mobile cabinet meetings are beneficial to Thai people

BANGKOK, 14 June 2018 (NNT) - Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan insisted that each mobile cabinet meeting aims to benefit Thai people.

Denying claims that mobile cabinet meetings are held in favor of certain political groups, Gen Prawit said mobile retreats are meant to benefit the public and that state funds are distributed equally across the country. He added no provinces are given special treatment.

Regarding the Secretary-General Office of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO)’s move to seek the Cabinet’s approval on its proposal to raise pensions for 600 individuals working for the NCPO, the Deputy Prime Minister said he had not seen the details, but admitted the raise was a little bit too much. Gen Prawit added; however, that he would need to look into it to see whether the proposal was 'appropriate.'

I am sure the proposed excessive pension increases will be passed with haste, deservedly so for coping under fire in the trenches the past 4 years.

Junta medals would also seem appropriate.

They are primarily beneficial to the present electioneering roadshow by the Junta Party and the PM.

These state funds being the money that is distributed on the basis of the length and volume of clapping for the PM. No clapping and cheering.......no funds.

They go around the country giving out goodies while other politicians are still gagged.  This man is just a concubine of what is really wrong with this country.   Typical mind numbing explanations offered by the junta.

This from a man who has increased his personal wealth by 5 million a year, for the last six years on a stipend of less than a million per annum.

Of course it is beneficial.

'See this here fine timepiece? This limousine I am being driven around in? Well, ladies and gentlemen, if you work hard and apply yourselves, I can get a new one of each one next year...'

Taking a leaf out of Jesus' book? You know, like changing water into wine or feeding the five thousand...?

How can this very expensive mobile cabinet meeting be good for the peoples?

Mobile as in "Bali', the 'Maldives', or maybe 'Hawaii'? That kind of mobile?

Or maybe the kind of mobile where nobody is sure where you are. Perhaps both?

The traditional medicine shows had at least an entertaining part.

They were here in Ayutthaya last September ranting and raving on about some grand scheme to ease the flooding.  It's probably part of their 20 yr plan to be started in the 18th year.

They're  politicians now....full of piss and wind.
