Should I buy a condo or rent?
It is definitely absolutely better to rent a condo in Thailand than buy. Condo purchases are no bargain. List prices are very high, and when dealing with a foreigner, they will stick to those inflated prices. Thais don't normally buy used condos. They will always prefer to buy a new condo, so it is incredibly difficult to sell a used condo. Building maintenance usually gets worse and worse as a building ages. Your home will be in a steady state of decline. Things can change very quickly in Thailand--a new construction project can appear next to your once quiet home, new noisy neighbors can move in next door. Rentals are very reasonably priced and available in just about every building. -

Won the game of life? Not yet. Still playing and I hope I have a few years left. My advice is to move to Thailand when you're in your twenties or thirties. Then it isn't necessary to try to think that you're forty-five. -

They are not ladies, and they are not boys. They're dudes, men in women's clothes and nothing else. Might have breast implants, but IMHO, doubt if any have gone all in, and had reassignment surgery (lopped off their penis), and even if so, probably need to take hormones, and still can't give birth. Not exactly a woman, as still have XY chromosomes. XY & XX is the only factor in determining ones sex. Looks and mental perception is simply a personal choice, not a fact. You can shape a beef burger long instead of round, and put it in a hot dog bun, but it's still a beef burger 😎 -

Healthiest Thai bread?
There are NO healthy bread. But if you actually want to have some, try some sourdough made from Rye or Spelt (Emmer or Einkorn also)...if these are to be found in Thailand at all. Also, I havent seen any flour in the shop that is not chemically whitened!"! That in itself is BAD!! -

TRIGGERED! Actually, everything he said is factual. I guess that's why his post upset you. It's true though, I have two American friends who also renounced for some of the very same reasons that he mentioned. I think about 6,000-7,000 expat Americans living abroad renounced in 2020.
