superal
Prasat near Surin has problems with teenagers racing their motor bikes on the main roads around town . The noise is deafening , the actions dangerous as they race along side normal motorists . Most do not wear crash helmets and often 2 or 3 on the bike . Complaints have been made to the police but nothing has been done . It seems to be even worse on a Friday evening when the local market is being held . I suppose that there is not a law in Thailand that limits the decibels emitted from a vehicle / motor bike . Is this a common problem throughout Thailand ? mok199
we live on a one way soi1in pattaya, it is about 1/4 mile long, straight and narrow with tons of tourists and locals walking on any given day.The amount of wrong way speeders is insane,(of which is 100% thais )with no regard ,just defiant ,feeling entitled and emboldend, even blowing their horns at people with children walking ,as these thai idiots on scooters speed pas. We have complained and nothing is done,BUT the same fat cop arrives each week, sits with his scooter taxi bullie pals ,and shakes down , tourists as the drive slowly the wrong way down our soi1, oblivious to the real crime....this disgusting behavior and lack of enforcement is why thialand is a lost cause Edited June 17, 2018 by mok199 speliings

mok199
the term ''Racing''...I would hope it incompases even one(1) person speeding(racing) with even a loud exhaust...they are in fact ''Racing'' and which should have a more severe penalty than speeding...
