lambous
Hi everyone, I'm transferring from Australia to Bangkok and just need to find out what the deal is with power supply. Can anyone let me know how I could go about setting up my laptop to be compatable in Thailand. Also it would be great if anyone could give me a rough estimate of how much this would cost. I'm assuming that I'll need an adapter and power converterter? Would this be right. We use 240 Volt AC, what is used in Thailand. Your help would be tops
fisherman
It is 240v 50Hz the same here, your pins on your plug will be angled and the sockets here are straight. you can either straighten them with pliers or buy an adapter at the airport
stumonster
you just need an adapter that will fit on your plug..will set you back about 2-3 bucks oz the supply here is 220vac but as your laptop has a power pack that converts it to dc volts this will not be an issue
