Can't open Thai visa or youtube without a VPN since this morning. Everything else seems to work fine.

I am using a PC connected to a phone hotspot AIS.

I have had that on some days. It is weird and inexplicable. I am with 3BB. When you phone them up, they act as if you have said there is a martian dancing on your keyboard. i.e. they clam up and say something non-committal like, "Let me check with the technician." Usually they are on the ball. It seems to happen in the morning and then rights itself later in the day.

 

My Belgian friend reckons it is related to Thai government snooping. I am open-minded on this.

Understandable. Best pack some things in an emergency escape bag and invest in a rope ladder of suitable length.

I've had the opposite problem. On occasion, while using a VPN Thai Visa doesn't open. Nearly every other website is fine. When I disconnect the VPN Thai Visa starts working again.
