BANGKOK, 19th June 2018 (NNT) - At Government House today, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha awarded plaques honouring their bravery to eight heroic individuals who risked their lives to rescue four people, including two babies from a burning car, when they came across the accident scene in Si Khiw district of Nakorn Ratchasima recently.

The PM admires heroes and also added today that the general public needs to acknowledge such life-saving commitment in an appropriate way. Moreover, he has urged Thais to look upon the eight rescuers as great role models.

It's like visiting the dentist, you always feel much better when it's over.

Regarding the picture...did the camera man/woman forget to say "Smile"?

Yes, I agree. I wonder when there will be role models in the government house again?

Hope this was a lesson about making a positive contribution to society. But don't think the 8 were there long enough to teach anything.
