I like to surprise a ?? friend from upcountry with a Belgium dinner. Nothing fancy or touristy. Just good and simple food he knows from back home. He is old and ill and might be his last time away from his place upcountry. Thanks for feed back. MS>

Patrick's is still around, just renovated and consistent quality. If you don't mind paying few baht more for good quality he's the place you want to be.

One of the best meals I ever had was at Patrick's - well worth the price (and not expensive compared to what one would pay for the equivalent in the West).

Although, I think it is more Flemish, Klein Vlaanderen on second road is another worth mentioning.

Not sure but I think Klein Vlaanderen closed its doors a few years ago...
