BANGKOK, 26th June 2018 (NNT) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has organized the TAT Startup contest to find a new generation of business entrepreneurs. 

The TAT Governor, Yuthasak Supasorn, said the contest is aimed at stimulating new entrepreneurs' activities in the tourism industry, which will help steer the country's economy and transform the economic structure into a value-based economy in accordance with the government’s Thailand 4.0 policy. 

For the contest, the TAT is supported by the Government Savings Bank (GSB), Krung Thai Bank (KTB) and Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SMEฺ Bank), and the relevant public and private agencies in order to enhance competitiveness for entrepreneurs and develop high-potential startups which will strengthen tourism community and tourism industry. 

Applications will be accepted from today until July 31st, 2018. The contest offers prizes worth more than 1.5 million baht. For more information, please call 0 2250 5500 Ext. 2940-43.
