I’ve just done a visa run for a new non-b visa and have also changed address/province.

The standard visa form I gave  provided both my old and new address.

Do I still need to go to immigration again to inform them? Surely they would have logged this when providing them the visa form...

You will have to do a change of address at immigration.

Embassies and consulate do not have any connection to immigration's databases.

Is there a time limit to do this?

It is 48 hours for hours for a change of address report.

And 24 hours from arrival at your residence which should be done by your landlord.

But both depend upon the immigration office you are reporting to. Some are stricter than others.

If you have a new visa and new entry to the country there is no need to report a change of address.

However, the owner, house-master, or possessor of the property you are staying at should report your stay/arrival.
