That only works if each has only  50% chance of leaving the cave alive. The odds seem stacked in the divers favour.

Means nothing. They could have been working for a week without a break and been replaced, or the work they were doing has been completed and they are no longer required.

True.

IMHO, the best people in the world have planned this extraction down to the most minute detail, including alternative plans for unknowns like the weather. Luck and chance exist, but are almost negligible.

Again, it depends on the air bottle supply. They can't replace them till tonight ( apparently, going by yesterday ). If no air, no rescue.

Yes thats right, probably another 3-4 today then the massive task of replenishing all the tanks, tanks for the guys going in and out replenishing the tanks, bringing out empties etc. I imagine 100s of tanks and 100s of 3 hour return trips to replenish all the tanks again.

Not sure about this as there's apparently only a total of approx 10 ausssies involved and only one a experienced doctor/diver

There is at least one Aussie among the core team of 18 rescuers escorting the boys and there are more helping the overall rescue effort but by any stretch of the imagination it is not being done by a team of Aussies nor a team of any other single nationality.

Unbelievable, what a morons!!! Media trying to look inside the helicopter with a drone. (The helicopter with the 5th. Boy rescued from the cave) risking the lives of the people inside!! Outrageous!
