Travelling to Koh Samui via KL and keen to bring in extra wine other than duty free - wondered if Koh Samui customs is a little easier and/or they don't have xray machines as in Bangkok?

You may have got more response if you mentioned where you are flying from and with which airline. Unless coming from Malaysia it's very likely you will clear customs in Bangkok.

 

On the other hand, members may be shy to comment as basically you asking advice about breaking the law.
