I have given you a direct comparison, one that you are aware of, because you are American. Here's another one. YOU can buy a property in YOUR own name in my country, Australia. Yet, we both can not do that in Thailand. So, a Thai can own property in their name in America and Australia, but we can not own property in Thailand. Do you see the point I am making? It's not reciprocal. Of course I agree with this. I have even pointed out that changes in visa laws may see someone unable to live in their own property here in the future. Once again, the point is, foreigners, including Thai's, can own in your country and mine, but we can't own in Thailand.
