A group of 80 soldiers warmly welcomed Mor Pak, who is also the commander of the 3rd Medical Battalion, upon his return to Suthampitak Army Base in Nakhon Ratchasima province.

Lt Col Dr Pak cited the need to further increase the capability of medical soldiers as well as have them grow familiar with the use of technology to enhance future operations after diving with foreign divers during the rescue mission to help the stranded Wild Boars football team at Tham Luang cave.

He also said that the boys and their coach were in good health during his visit to the hospital caring for them in Chiang Rai province. Mor Pak also praised their coach for taking good care of the boys during their ordeal, adding that everyone involved in the rescue effort was a hero to him.
