Hello,

 

Not being around often, I am looking for a cheap gym with aircon, and I found Pattaya Fun Gym, do you know it ?

It seems to be the cheapest gym around with aircon ? They have a club in Pattaya soi siam country club and another one at Naklua, have you been there ?

Aircon is cold enough ? And 24 hours ?

 

If prices are updated it's only 1000/month and 1500 for 2 people (good incentive to bring someone!). If you plan to go maybe you can contact me ?

 

Any other gym with aircon at this price or cheaper ? is welcome.

Another excellent gym is Castra Gym in Soi Khao Talo. 1,250 baht a month or 7,000  baht a year.

Thank you, but not for me, ridiculous opening hours, and more expensive.

Opening Hours

Mon-Fri - 07:00-21:00
Sat-Sun - 09:00-18:00

If you are genuinely looking for a gym on the darkside I would give Castra a shot as you do not appear to be looking further than a slight price difference and the hours are hardly ridiculous and for Mon-Fri only an hour shorter than Fun Gym according to their Facebook page.

I haven’t been to Fun Gym but, looking at the video, they seem to have far more cardio equipment than Castra though in the end that boils down to demand for it - a room full of cardio is overkill if only a handful of people are going to use it at any one time. Castra looks to have far better free weights and machines along with a lot more space to use them.

I am at Pattaya monstly on week end, so yes, closing at 6pm Sat and Sun when people have more time is something that I would not call smart. And I usually go late at night, so 1 hour less is a lot.

 

If anybody else has something interesting to say beside an opinion that I am not interested to read, please tell me.

 

Any other cheap aircon gym around Pattaya area ?

I checked all Pattaya gyms and this one seems to be the best for value.

Fun gym has 2 branches and aircon 24 hours.

Between the overpriced mall gyms and the stupid no aircon gyms it is difficult to choose, I wonder how a gym owner can be brainless enough to think that opening a gym without aircon is acceptable. By the way, the stupid overpriced supermarket coco gym is closing, what a surprise ! 300000 thb monthly rent and the idiot owner was dreaming to make a profit ! 55555+

Cannot see location of Naklua gym, any hints?  not traveling miles to reach Siam rd .  The Jetts seems OK  good location,Little Walk,but 1600 a month

Jetts location is ridiculous, their pricing is ridiculous, and their personal trainers who know nothing are ridiculous.

Evidence ? It's empty everyday !

How can a big company as this one take so stupid decisions ? Luckily they will close quickly enough ❤️

I often go to Fun gym Naklua. Nice Thai girl owns it with a Russian husband who is friendly and keeps the equipment in good order. Staff are all friendly girls. Free towel on arrival,air conditioned, lots of equipment and great range of prices from cheap one off visits, longer memberships and couples specials. Seems very popular with the local Thais. The changing/shower area is small and there is no sauna unfortunately.

The owner is from Belgium, and yes he has a Thai wife, but Naklua club is too small, the one on dark side is a lot bigger and better.

Thanks. I was just impressed he maintains the gear. I was used to Tony's gym where the gear is just left to break all the time.
