Lao dam disaster donations top 25 million baht

 

 

Cash donations made by the people through a government bank account to help Lao people affected by the collapse of a saddle dam of the Xe Pian-Xe Namnoy hydropower project in Attapeu porovince has now topped 25 million baht, Prime Minister’s Office deputy permanent secretary Sompas Nilphan said today.

 

Mr Sompas said as of 12 pm, the total amount of donations made through account number 067-12886-4 of Krungthai Bank, Government House branch, was over 25 million baht.

 

Apart from making donations in cash, people in Bangkok can also donate relief materials, such as clothes and dried foods at Government House everyday from 8.30am-4pm.

I wonder how much the so called "International Community "  has given to the Laotian? 

If a conflict or war , they are very quick to act and billions of $$  are readily available ?

well donations are always welcome, indeed its very sad to see SK (korean hydro developer) given a check o 10 Mil USD to the Lao Communist Party to help the people and rebuild the infrastructure.

what a sad joke, first 10 Mil not enough even to re build 1 village, with schools, clinics, roads, destroyed house, road drainages, as well people live lost, cattle and animal farming lost, crop farming lost, shop and stores all gone, 10 Mil its a peanut in the sea.

the true GOL shall seize any property and bank account of Ratcha and SK until they will give the real figure to compensate and re build, which are presently a low estimate of 900 Mil USD.
 

I think this is a way bigger disaster that has been reported due to the BS that this silly commie government refuses to admit, due to it's well known adversity to releasing info.

Remember how much the Thai Government stole from Tsunami donations?

$ 1 million just from the UK.

 

 

 

How many Billions may be expected as 'donation' from the Thai companies taking part to this very poorly (criminally?) set-up project, and nearly sole beneficiary of it...?
