"before teasing it with a stick ", you would think common sense would tell you ,don't do that to a crocodile. regards worgeordie

Bet he'd give his right arm to be ambidextrous !!

Lesson learned.  You could lose your arm if you try testing a croc's gag reflex by trying to get him to deep throat your fist.

He is probably thanking his lucky amulets that he didn't stick his head in.

Thats another  video in another Thai croc  place thats on  tinternet.

Dont k now why folks even go to see these "shows"

It is a wild reptile, that bites things for a living, not sure what else the Keeper expected.

HoHum, if I've seen one wrangled arm I've seen a dozen, haven't seen a head bite though, any?

Blood would add a negative image for the tourist industry. Accident? What accident?

You're looking at the wrong forum...

Was it a case of amputation? I hope not.

What forum should it be - is there a 'family butcher' forum?

It's a bit like putting a delicious piece of cake in someone's mouth and asking them not to bite.

This is the most idiotic thing I've ever seen. He deserved to lose his arm... but was lucky to get away with some scratches. I don't think this is the first time it has happened as he seemed fairly casual about it.

Yes. What everyone's unaware of - the croc has false teeth.

In Samut Prakan they "offered" a head in 2011!

Perhaps they are included in the Package Tour, already paid for in China?

As far as I know they are still offering head at the SP farm.... and from what I hear, at some of the other shows around.

Even if the teeth had been filed smooth, the croc has a very high bite force and could cause quite a bit of damage. The side to side flicking movement once they have bitten down is dangerous too.

Quite insensitive to Steve Irwin and his family.  He and his wife were conservationists/naturalists that did much to make the public aware of nature and the damage the human race was doing to these creatures.  He was certainly not a 'tricks' guy for cheap shows.

Shame on you.

Lucky it wasn't his head .....

He deserved it lol. They should not cage these endangered reptiles

Unregistered Crocs of course, registered Crocodiles wouldn't behave like that.

55555 Perfect example of an Idiot ,,,, One doesn't  <deleted>.... around with Crocs or any wild animal,,,,

It was lunchtime and the croc needed to eat..common.

He's referred to as a keeper. Perhaps this painful little incident will teach him to keeper his arms and head out of the reptiles mouth?
