Friends of mine will come to Thailand at the end of October.  They will travel with their two children, their respective spouses and grand children...a party of 9 persons.

And they want to see Phang Nga Bay, Ko Khao Phing Kan, and whatever else interesting to seein the surroundings.

Can you recommend a nice and practical place to stay?  They would like to have access to the beach too...
