2nd FLR Query

Featured Replies

We are completing our UK spouse 5 year 2nd FLR in one months time in person and have a few things im unsure about:

  • We are using savings to meet the financial requirement, which have been held in the easy access account for more than 6 months,  dose the latest statement have to be dated on the date of the actual appointment day ?  (to prove it is current) or is there a number of day leeway?
  • We live with a family member who solely own's a 3 bedroom house, I have:

-A letter from them stating we can stay and have use of a large bedroom,

            -A copy of their deeds

-A copy of their latest council tax bill

-A picture of the room we use.

Do I need a independent housing report to prove the house is not overcrowded?

Thanks in advanced

Hi,

I'm fairly certain the financial statements must be within 28 days of your appointmen/date of sending application.

My understanding is that you will not need an independent report as the house isn't overcrowded. Remember you will have to provide evidence you and your partner live in the house. This is 6 letter each (or 6 if combined names) spread evenly over the last 2 years.
