Panel to be set up to screen approaches to Wild Boars

A provincial committee will be set up to screen approaches made for the 12 Moo Pa Academy football players and their coach to attend various events and activities, Chiang Rai governor Prajon Pratsakul said on Friday.

 

Mr Prajon was speaking to reporters after the 11 Wild Boars team members and their coach Ekapol Chanthawong who are still in monkhood made a courtesty call on him. They were accompanied by Phra Khru Prayut Jetiyanukarn, acting abbot of Wat Phra That Doi Wao in Chiang Rai’s Mae Sai district.

 

The governor said he asked the 11 novices to return to their classrooms and concentrate on their study and live a normal life after leaving the monkhood.

A panel? To approve making a film?

Now it's not going to be shades of the ex-TAT governor who fell foul of something similar in the film industry in the past I hope. No, surely not:

agree with YB - they're the ones that went through this ordeal, by surviving they earned the right to do whatever they please with this experience. Down the road if they make mistakes they'll learn from them, that's what you do in the school of life.

Do these numpties think clever serious film makers are going to engage with them.

They could remake the whole thing in a cave......any cave. Add cgi for the actual geography. A few landscapes in Laos or Myanmar would do it, and a few villager extras.

Maybe it's me being such a thorough-going Westerner, I don't know - but I just feel uneasy about the way seemingly every single move of these young lads is being managed, manipulated, stage-managed and controlled. 

 

For God's sake: let them have some freedom!

How about <deleted> off the panel and just letting them get on with their lives and in the future if there are any deals to be done it can be done exclusively with the boys and their immediate families if that is what they so choose and all the greasy <deleted> who just want to dip their fingers in the pie, yet have no direct connection to the boys their families or the fantastic rescue operation can be cut right out of the equation.

God forbid they would freely speak about their cave trip Ofcourse this have to be monitored but why so?
