I spotted the front page of a Thai Newspaper today which had a large photograph of Thaksin's face done up like the American 'Mad' character - toothless grin and all. In large letters above the picture: MAD

Went to the paper shop yesterday and looked at 17 different Thai newspapers without success. Perhaps it wasn't yesterday's paper?

Anyway, did come across this on the net, and though he may not be "Mad", he does march to "the beat of a different drummer"

I would go for mad as in angry. Why is he in Beijing? Not for the duck or the balmy weather. The lad is up to no good.
