28days Rule??

Featured Replies

Just to confirm im just booking and paying for our our premium same day appointment online, (we are meeting the financial requirement by savings Category D savings) if I book the appointment for the 10th Sep, the most recent bank statement must be no earlier than 28days before this actual appointment date ( ie: no earlier than the 13th Aug).

So im good with a statement dated anywhere between 13th Aug and 10th Sep?

Thanks

We are completing our 2nd FLR (M) The UK visa Cat D (savings) financial rules state bank the most recent bank statement must be less than 28 days old. I was wondering if the 28days is in relation to when you book and pay for your appointment online or in relation to the actual premium appointment day its self, when we will be submitting all the documentation?

The rules just specify "before the date of application"

In Appendix FM-SE it states

  1. (l) Where this Appendix requires the applicant to provide specified evidence relating to a period which ends with the date of application, that evidence, or the most recently dated part of it, must be dated no earlier than 28 days before the date of application.
