I'm sorry, but this is the President of the US talking.  Very ill bred and unbecoming for a man in his position, but then he has no class.

On an almost daily basis, Trump continues thru his words and actions to debase the U.S. presidency in ways and to an extent far beyond what anyone could have possibly imagined.

If there is anything that is certain about this sorry episode, it is that he DID use the N word, and he uses many words similar to is, to describe people of color. That is just the way he rolls, and who the man is. He absolutely despises people of color. When he says at a rally, "look here is MY African American" it is exactly with the same meaning and intent as someone saying "look here is my slave", 150 years ago. He only hired her as the token black person in the administration. Now, even that is coming back to bite the big dog. Calling her a dog? Cute. Rappers use the term. However rappers are infinitely classier than this joke of a man child.

Get out now Don. Resign. Get out while you are still ahead. You are going down in flames. Tiny Don. Moving America backwards daily. Tiny Don. I cannot negotiate my way out of a paper bag. Tiny Don. Appointing only the least competent, and re-populating the swamp with people of no talent like Huckabee Sanders, Mnuchin, Ross, Devos, Haley, and Kelly. Guys and gals who bring absolutely nothing to the table daily. Tiny Don. Not serving his nation. Serving only himself daily. Tiny Don. The art of never being able to say no to a lobbyist. Ever.

So, that's a no then, and you are not too fond of him? ?

Don't they have slander or defamation laws?

There are slander and defamation laws but the standards are much narrower for public figures. Which is overwhelmingly a good thing. Remember the case of Robert Maxwell, who deterred the press from making unfavorable reports about himself? British libel law enabled him to loot the pensions of workers.

Just now, car720 said:

What I mean is can someone just up and call someone a dog like that in the press without being had up for libel or whatever.

She's a public figure and would have a difficult time proving  that such harsh language which while ugly makes no specific and provably false allegations is libelous.

I love these threads - adds more to my list, and allows me to clarify things in light of emotional headlines  (for those that want to listen).

Kelly sacked her and she has written a book and attacked the POTUS with lies about racism (for publicity).

What is that old saying - Hell hath no Fury !!

Trump is a brash arrogant billionairre New Yorker - and he doesnt give a rat's rear about political correctnes.

Is there something many of you are taking that stops you from understanding that.

Trump was elected because he is not a smooth talking polished career politician.

He is brash and direct and hates the swamp and the lies of the biased left wing media.

And he is doing a great job in running the country - unlike that smooth talking media polished person that predceeded him.

It still amazes me that some people take offence at what he tweets - and dont realise he deliberately does that for a reason.

As an avid Republican and Trump admirer I would like to correct the quote attributed to DT. He actually said "Feline Bitch", not "dog".

Ed Henry (CNN)  to KatrinaPierson, "would it be appropriate for me to call a woman a dog?

Her response, "it depends on what she did to you. Omarosa bit the hand that fed her. To me that is what a [bad] dog is."

I would tell @edhenry he acted like a dog when he was interviewing @KatrinaPierson, but he blocked me.

Donald J. Trump

.@MarkBurnettTV called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a terrible and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa. I don’t have that word in my vocabulary, and never have. She made it up.

To the many dozens of #journalists who called me, questioning @OMAROSA claim in her new book that @POTUS @realDonaldTrump took a note from me, put it in his mouth and ate it...I saw NO such thing and am shocked anyone would take this seriously.

Never in my presence over 40 yrs-in public & private-incl @realDonaldTrump’s last season hosting @ApprenticeNBC-have I heard @POTUS use any racial slurs. No one knows what’s in anyone’s heart-I just know nothing as filthy as @OMAROSA alleges ever came out of his mouth around me.

I’m in @Omarosa’s book on page 149. She claims to have heard from someone who heard from me that I heard Trump use the N-word. Not only is this flat-out false (I’ve never heard such a thing), but Omarosa didn’t even make an effort to call or email me to verify. Very shoddy work.

What the Hell Ed? Move to CNN if you want to bash Trump! Katrina didn’t say “dog”. Maybe Trump shouldn’t have said it but it certainly wasn’t racist or woman bashing. How would you feel if you’ve been supporting someone for 15y and they bash u as soon as you fire them? Dirty dog!!

I’ve been around @realDonaldTrump publicly & privately for 25yrs. I’ve NEVER ONCE - EVER - have heard him say the disgusting & terrible word that the Opportunistic Wacky Omarosa claims. #WackyO has contradicted & embarrassed herself for the past 36hrs on TV. Painful & SAD to see!

Check the transcripts! Media is has been providing context free commentary & analysis all day.

Thx ⁦⁦@ErinBurnett⁩ for allowing me to set the record straight on #unhinged Omarosa ⁦@OutFrontCNN#maga

To be clear: Muslim extremists killed a three-year old boy in a demonic ritual to bring about the apocalypse through multiple school shootings.

But instead the media wants to talk about a tape (about Trump) that clearly doesn't exist.

Maybe I read this wrong, but to me this sounds like miss Newman had an agenda, and got a job at the white house through blackmail.

Well it was certainly quite a shock when Trump employed her as an advisor at the White House but with Trump all common sense goes out of the window.  Maybe she was blackmailing him, there is plenty of ammunition with this moronic president, just ask the Russians!  But the way he talked her up when she was hired gave the impression that she was a trusted and very savvy lady.

As for the dog comment, well that is Trump showing us all once again at how "Presidential" he is.

So... trump.

supposedly as the “leader of the free world” is continually setting new baseline perceptions for the position of the worlds pre eminent statesman.

this is getting to look like a game of limbo to see how low the bar can really go.... how far the American peoples will let it go. (Mind you, imho, he is likely to put the limbo bar holders out of work, [oops... more unemployment] as it will be supported by the grass.... just right for a snakes height)

Surely Trump would see that she was an opportunist before employing her?  After all he knew her well from his reality show.  You mean he was too stupid to see it.  Yep that makes sense.  Amazing how all these people are cashing in on Trumps constant screw-ups.  Anyone would think he was thick ?

Hardly think he's stupid! He's got the attention of the entire planet! Always has for the most part. Besides the fact he's the POTUS!

Perhaps she is a dog, and she certainly lacks any credibility,  a super sleazy trait shared by her former clown boss "trump", but "trump" is the greatest dog whistler in the history of the planet.

Yes, if we're talking about children and internet trolls.  When you reach adulthood and become a professional businessman or politician, you're expected to handle yourself differently.

It's unfortunate that the facist MSM media are using her for their diabolical plot to sway public opinion

He certainly has the attention of the whole planet.  He is the laughing stock of everywhere.  The cartoonists and comedians of the world love him.  Can't wait to see what stupid thing he will do or say next!

Ok if you say so

Not only does he reserve his nastiest remarks to black people,  but make it a woman and he notches it up to another level. But white women are fair game to him as well......remember some of his vitriol aimed at the newscaster who was on the debates. Everything that is disgusting and nasty in people is combined into this one man. What happened to good manners, breeding, and respect for other people? When he is gone people will look back and remember this pathetic fart of a person as a stain on the history of the USA. Let us hope he goes soon back under his rock.

Not just me, pretty much the whole world but there are still a few in denial.  But you are right when you say he is being attacked.  Yes he is from every direction and by just about every commentator.  And he does defend himself by just throwing insults and calling people names. How presidential is that?  You call him POTUS but that is in name only.  He is not respected and has no idea how to earn respect.

Funny how he saves his most demeaning, vile, insults for black people. I wonder why that is.

Hmm...

Example: His obvious, much displayed and vocal basic total hatred for Barack Obama. Just awful.

Seems to me it's reinforcement that he thinks the presidency is his reality show, and he own and controls the script and the cameras.

"trump" doesn't get that his role is to be a servant of American people. To that sick puppy America now means him. He demands total worship and loyalty. If not, you're an enemy of the people. Folks -- this is a an authoritarian fascist. An unusually bizarre one but it still fits.

Sure, and to my thinking your saying:

- His role is to be a servant of the people /employed by the people.

- But he sees his role as the boss / the intimidator / the controller, in terms of his own opinions which are biased, racist, and unethical.

Nasty man.

it is or was very common to use the term "dog" when referring to a physically unattractive aka ugly gal and it never had racial implications.   it has also been used to describe betrayal and again not about race.

i forgot in this day and age everything is or can be racist.

If you can find other instances where Trump has referred to white people as dogs, then his use of the term against blacks loses its racial slant.  However, if he has no history of calling his white friends "dogs", then the term has racial implications when he uses it against a black person.

And it's not like we needed any more proof that Trump is a racist, anyway.
