Straight from the pages of George Orwell's book '1984`.

I am personally funding Thai translations of the work available to all members of the government here.

Hopefully we will soon see changes when more folks are brought in line with a coherent social policy.

With a statement such as this

"The new regulation now also forbids public assembly likely to disturb order or go against morality, inappropriate acts of affection and obscenity in private and public places, and causing a nuisance. "

Then it appears to me that the powers that be are attempting to legalise a further  massacre such as Thammasat atrocities of 1976.  You never know what evil is around the corner.

There are still people on this forum who support the military takeover. They would not care about democracy protesters being hung from lamp posts and burned alive.

Isn't the point of these new rules less to do with teenagers having sex and more to do with preventing students from gathering and talking about things they shouldn't.

Aye, and who decides what is proscribed as legitimate conversation topics?

The State of course!

For our own protection understand.

Thank the gods that somebody has the strength and wisdom to guide these young lives.
