But still, I would like it to look more like Singapore; where dumping a cigarette butt cost SGD 400 back in 1979. Indeed, the first trip outside Thailand with my wife has been to Singapore. Real eye opener for her, there. Now she shares most of my view on what Thailand should have been, without 469 constitutions, and other things... People like me !!!, I don't throw any rubbish around,I recycle everything I can, and get the lady who collects recyclables to collect it,I don't burn anything, I do my bit,what I can ,but it's up to the Thai people and Government to try and clean things up,but don't see anything really happening soon, They fine people heavily for smoking on the beaches,but turn a blind eye to the burning season up here in Chiang Mai, when was the clean Thailand?, in 30 years here I don't recognize the term Clean Thailand,just thankful its not like the Sub Continent and other really dirty places around the World. One outside a fence, another at a place they appearently use as a garbage dump and then a place where burning some wood and garbage. It´s still not everywhere. I just guess you will have to take your camera and travel around a little bit more to make him read and look at what you have to say. A lot more!
