A former school director in Narathiwat's Muang district is to face action after she allegedly embezzled a fund meant for the school's farming-for-lunch project.

Narathiwat provincial office of the National Anti Corruption Commission (NACC) head Nathawut Khomprasert revealed on Tuesday that sufficient evidence had been forthcoming to warrant the matter being taken further.

The NACC provincial office's fact-finding probe found evidence in June pointing to the guilt of the ex-director of Ban Khok Sumu School in Tambon Bang Por, whose name is still withheld, over her alleged embezzlement of Bt200,000 from the Theppadungporn Coconut Company project.

The NACC provincial office has forwarded a report of its findings, along with recommendations, to the special attorney for corruption litigation to indict the suspect for a trial at the Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct Cases Region 9, Nathawut added.

That is it then, two get out clauses that will most likely lead to zero action......always leave a back door emergency exit strategy.

with the number of reports of this lately I'm starting to think these educational 'directors' are more crooked than the cops.

A close second behind the RTP and just in front of Customs officials.

The NACC has to find some sacrificial lamb every so often to give the impression they are doing something other than protecting senior government officials and politicians.

A "fact-finding probe", duh! They couldn't find a fact if it jumped up and bit them on the ass; particularly if it was a fact to do with watches.
