Jolted by ex-allies' criminal cases, Trump faces election and legal risks

This thread has become absolutely disgusting. A death-wish on the 1st page, attacking someone's nationality because they may not be a native speaker and dare to disagree with the haters, slanderous after slanderous posts.

The OP is about 2 people, 1 of whom was charged with 18 counts and only found guilty of 8, ALL of which happened years before the election campaign and the other opting to take a plea deal to keep his wife out of prison after his lawyer spread false news about information he didn't have to help get him that deal.

Nice rant but the OP is about what the title of the thread states:

The OP doesn't cover it but IF ANY of you Trump-hating, losing party members could kindly post the link listing all the charges that President Trump has been charged with, I'd like to see it. This is NOT a request for the false news rushed headlong into and spewed by the leftist MSM that has already been disproven but never redacted.

The OP is about 2 people, 1 of whom was charged with 18 counts and only found guilty of 8...

Only 8 federal charges?   I think your comment is proof that Denial isn't just a river in Egypt.

No Matter How Bad It Gets, Trump Will Never Give Up

...

The antisocial personality is a force that requires an equal or greater counterforce for containment. This is not a man who will slip quietly into the night. In fact, if we don’t gather together an adequate counterforce, Trump’s antisocial behaviors will continue, expand, and potentially lead us toward an international crisis. In the meantime, we should collectively buckle up. Trump won’t be waving a white flag any time soon, and the fight to contain him promises to be an ugly one

Nice paraphrase to suit your hatred shrunk grey matter. None of the charges involved President Trump. Now go find your river and cry there.

I would think it is you with the egg stains.

Do watch the news or only selective news that backs your sad claims? AZ., FL., and OK., winners were all backed by President Trump 2 weeks after this weak story broke on the biased left-wing news carriers.

Who said they did?

No one.

Honestly, why even suggest that tRUmp might have committed criminal acts?

I don't get why tRUmp defenders feel the need to implicate him in crimes no one has even suggested?

I'd submit that we haven't heard the last of Cohen and Manafort? Maybe save some of your powder for the future? Otherwise, you'll just be an empty barrel, making the most noise.

No, they didn't. Now continue wiping the egg off your face, you missed a couple of spots.

We're told that the president is too busy golfing, tanning, campaigning, rallying to take the time to defend himself on criminal charges.

Who knew we'd elect a criminal, and have to deal with these questions?

you were saying...? something about nobody naming him guilty...the link to those "criminal charges" he needs to waste time on if you please.

My having an "opinion" that tRUmp is a criminal is just that, an "opinion". It is tRUmp defenders, like Rudy Ghouliani, who say that he is too busy to defend himself against "potential" (Federal) criminal charges.

I did not state that he has been charged with any crimes - being an unindicted/un-named co-conspirator is close - nor did I say he was "guilty" of any crimes, save that hair, and Cheeto skin color.

Honestly, give it a rest. This thread is about the criminals: Manafort and Cohen.

Troll post removed.

Wow!

Check out this poll.

A solid majority now see the orange emperor has no clothes.

A majority 49 to 46 percent even support impeachment.

No wonder he's totally melting down more.. His only hope is to fire up his rabid base.

Poll: 60 percent disapprove of Trump, while clear majorities back Mueller and Sessions

The amazingly sad part is, those numbers aren't very different from what they've been for a long time, despite Trump's escalating obstruction of justice criminal behavior, his savagely attacking the news media, Manafort & Cohen's convictions/pleas, the unraveling of Trump's pre-election porn star/Playmate payoffs, the emergence of the Butina-Russia-NRA case, etc etc.

In my view, he's clearly a political criminal and a traitor under the influence of Russia for whatever reasons. And yet despite that and all that has gone on during his tenure as president, half of America still thinks he should not be removed. And large majority of Republicans still support him despite all the despicable things he's done, although you almost never hear any concrete reasons as to why.

We support a president who's longing to be a dictator, not accountable to Congress, the courts or the news media? We support a president who supports/defends racists and anti-immigrant racism in a country founded and developed by immigrants? We support a president who has no respect for the law, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, etc etc?  We support a president who has an affinity for despicable dictators while alienating the U.S.'s closest allies?

We support a president who pursues policies that will increase pollution, worsen global warming and harm the environment? We support a president who gave huge tax breaks to the rich and large corporations at the expense of the middle class and poor? We support a president who promised excellent health insurance for all, but has adopted policies to reduce the numbers of Americans able to obtain health insurance. We support a president who wants to overturn a longstanding Supreme Court holding that abortion is legal within limits, a legal ruling that most Americans support?

Just which of those elements of Trump's policies have Republicans continuing to support him?

"trump" really is sinking dramatically now, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have the power to fight it in authoritarian ways. Nixon didn't have Fox news.

Poll by sinking poll, Trump inches toward impeachment

...

To put that in perspective: In January 1974, well into the Watergate scandal, Richard Nixon’s poll numbers on impeachment were better than President Trump’s are now. Earlier, less disastrous polls for Trump still showed him veering dangerously close to what we might call “the Nixon ceiling.”

Most worrying for Trump is that three-quarters of Democrats say they want Congress to impeach him. If Democrats gain control, they will be under immense pressure from their base to deliver.

And another "witch" is caught in the probe. This time foreign money is directly linked to the Trump inaugural fund.

Lobbyist pleads guilty, says he helped steer foreign money to Trump inaugural and lied to Congress

Quote

Patten sought tickets to Trump's inauguration on behalf of an unnamed prominent Ukrainian oligarch, according to court documents released Friday, ultimately paying $50,000 for four tickets. Patten used another American as a "straw purchaser," funneling the Ukrainian's money secretly to the inaugural committee through a Cypriot bank account.

I guess the Ukrainian oligarch really wanted to go to a US presidential inauguration just for "kicks".

That whole inauguration fund smells funny as well. Just where did some of the money come from? And more importantly, where did the money ($106.7 million!!!) go?

Why Trump’s inauguration money is a major part of Mueller’s Russia investigation
