The sole fact that  governs this case is that the accused had carnal relations with a minor, a 14  year old child. AAnd yes, 14 years old is legally a child.

If she was a prostitute, it's even worse because he took the child for the purposes of prostitution.

Ignorance / claiming ignorance of the girls age is certainly no defence

After many years of rattling around SE Asia and experiencing every country and lots of time in Thailand I know whats WOT

This is a collective effort by all concerned and there is absolute nothing to get excited about in these events
