This started today.

Whenever I do a search on Google using either my phone or macbook, I get the message "Our systems havve detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it is really you". Shows a CAPTCHA.

Anyone seen this? Or know what I can do to check? Wondering if I might have picked up some coin mining software. Although I don't really visit any dodgy sites.

TIA

I get this from time to time when I use a VPN.

Many users on one VPN server doing google searches and you might get this.

I assume you don't use a VPN (dedicated or trough browser addons or the like)?

I can't tell whether this might happen due to "sharing" of IP addresses on certain Thai ISPs.

What ISP do you use?

I'm on 3BB, and do use a VPN, but it was not turned on when I started getting these messages. I cleared Safari browser history this morning, and up to now, the message seems to have gone away.

I used to get quite a bit (I'm on WiFi shared in my complex).  I just can't seem to identify the street signs in the captcha so I just switch immediately to Firefox or Edge.  Funny then I just stopped getting that even though I will still search, search, and search.  Do you count the supporting beam of the street signs?  I sometimes could pass the "click on any box with buses" but cars are harder.

I stumbled on a Pattaya Forum which seemed interesting.  To join I had to pass like a captcha type 2.  I just could not do it.  The captchas are getting so hard that pretty soon only computers will be able to solve them.
