Adding another university to my work schedule

I presently work for a uni with work permit only for that uni.  

I’d like to eventually split my time between 2 universities. 

Does anyone know how I should proceed?    On one hand I read no new notifications necessary.   On the other hand I read both unis must be on work permit.  Thanks

A while ago here was a thread about this topic, if i remember correctly if it's in the same province your new work place would be added to your existing work permit. If it is another province you would get a second work permit

Thanks.  This situation may come up for me next year.  Different provinces.
