A Russian tourist had to be “rescued” from the sea off Pattaya after he grabbed 10 sticks of grilled chicken from a beach-side vendor and jumped off a pier early Tuesday.

Thai select brandings to spread Thai value through restaurants

Business Development Department of the Ministry of Commerce is attempting to create economical value through Thai restaurants in the country by officially awarding 579 certified restaurants with "Thai SELECT" brand. Certified restaurants were divided into three categories: Thai SELECT PREMIUM (7 restaurants), Thai SELECT (522 restaurants), and Thai SELCT UNIQUE (50 restaurants).
