I bought some electric clippers a while back, Wahl brand, but they were really only suitable for cutting human hair, they weren't much good for my dog. I see quite a few advertised on Lazada, a brand called Kemei, that they say are for pets, and they aren't expensive, around 500 baht, but wonder how good they are for that price. I don't want to pay $100 for clippers to cut my dog a few times a year, but no point in buying something that doesn't work either. Anyone use clippers on their dog? https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i150141586-s174864823.html?spm=a2o4m.cart.0.0.b5516108TLH2WF&urlFlag=true&mp=1

For a few times a year, take the mutt a proper grooming shop for Bht 300 where they will pamper him/her, check for fleas etc. He'll/she'll love it.........well ours does. A bit like buying clippers to do your own hair when you can go to a local barbers and get haircut and shave for Bht70.

Have been doing that, but now the groomer doesn't want to take him because he hates being groomed and can bite, or at least not keep still. He seems to be more relaxed when I do it.

Try staying with him while the groomer does his job. If that doesn't work........Lazada it is.

What I really want to know is what clippers people use and can recommend.

The bill looks a bit different when you have seven dogs, six of which need clipping. I bought clippers at Lazada, a blade lasts about 9 months and I don't have to hang around until the dog is finished.

I am a horse groomer and I always using Oster Pet Clipper for body clipping and buying from online. It is good for both professionals as well as pet owners. Its trimmer comes with powerful speed like 3,000 SPM and 4,000 SPM. It is ideal for dogs, cat, horse. It is compatible with Oster A5 detachable blades.
