I just moved and I have to move over my ais fibre to the new condo (like 200meters away). After a lot of problems AIS says the installation costs 2000 baht. Is that fair? Sounds really mad that I have to pay nearly triple the montly internet bill just to have it installed.

It all depends what they have to do to get the fibre to your room. There may be some fee imposed by the building, and they may need to install extra equipment if they arent already fully set up in that building.
