Democrat Party Chairman Abhisit Vejjajivva

BANGKOK — The Democrat Party will schedule a primary to select party leadership in November if the junta relaxes its restrictions and allows it.

Preparing for a campaign season that could begin mid-December, party chairman Abhisit Vejjajiva announced details Sunday for how ordinary party members will vote for a new leader at a general meeting two months from now in the party’s first-ever primary.

Abhisit has commited the ultimate mistake a political leader can make.

He's ineffective and everyone knows it.

Brown nosing has always been compulsory in the Democrat Party, irrespective of the compliant puppet nominally in charge

A world class education has been wasted on this bum.  The guy is a total waste of time.

Beware of Trojan horse taking the helm and pivot towards the junta.

Time to replace this political bridesmaid with someone who might actually make it to the altar.

He is well educated, he may be brilliant, he is not a leader. His party has not prospered, partly because Suthep ruled the roost as his assistant. Ask yourself if Einstein would make a good PM. Brains help no question, but he does not have the capacity to be the Boss.

Well that must be ok then ah ?   Just a shame he did absolutely nothing towards his brilliant road map after he was installed by the puppet masters previously.   Or was that his previous brilliant road map, that sanctioned the use of force by the way,  that didn't work so well and his new fantastic road map will be even better ?

He is a nice guy no doubt but he does exactly as he is told so he is a follower , not a leader.

The Thai equivalent of David Cameron, right down to both being well-educated at Eton.

At least Cameron had the sense to throw in the towel after he had found himself on the losing side in the Brexit referendum. I think that it is now high time for Abhisit to follow his example.

Sorry but that just reeks of Bangkok Tuk Tuk tours for 10 Baht.   He was part of a coup as apposed to due process.  He just lacks anything that identifies with credibility.  Did the road map include an independent judicial system, impeachment process or some sort of leash on the clowns in green or clowns in brown ?
