paradaxa

wondering if any members are or have taken paradaxa? its a blood thinner which seems to be preferred now to warfarin and is used at differing dosages for heart problems,after hip operations and for DVT. 

 

I need to take the higher dose for DVT of 2 a day for 6 months and at Ram costs of 3000 for 30, I make that a cool 36k. 

 

Maybe the high price tag is why pharmacies I have tried dont stock it although Pharma Choice will sell at 2300/30  but need 7/10 days to order.

 

So may pharmacies so maybe other members have found better options than I have found so far.

Dara Pharmacy opposite the Dara School stocks it.  110mg, 30 for B2,000.  If out of stock they can usually get it within 3 days.

thanks I tried there. 150mg 2500/30! pharma choiuce next door 2300 but on order

don't know about the 150 but my experience with the 110 is as stated, been at that price for over a year

How does Paradaxa compare to Plavix (Clopidogrel), which of these has less side effects like being toxic to kidney and liver?

the 110 was in stock but problem solved as the order for my 150s arrived in 4 days and they ordered a spare so we bought that too. and 700 baht each less than Ram
