Come on all, I am just asking if you know some shop where they can do this.

Yes I did use search first but it came up with many topics and not any of them provide a shop.

I converted a Sony MiniDV tape to VCD for 250 baht in Old Siam Plaza just near China Town. I'm sure there are many shops in Panthip doing these conversions for much cheaper. :o

IT mall in Seacon square has a shop. will convert to VCD, DVD, or anything else you want. Or DIY with a video capture card.

I had a VHS tape and an old movie camera tape converted to mpeg by a small shop in Phantip last year. They did a good job.

The VHS was converted to three mpegs, with overlap, so I can easily edit them together, and not worry about loss.

The shop is on the "left" side of the plaza (as viewed from the main enterance. I think they are on the same floor as the cafeteria, just around from the escalator. If not on that floor, then up or down one floor in the same area. I don't remember what I paid, but it was reasonable, and I'd go there again.
