You cannot change visa categories.

But can change the reason for an extension of stay based upon marriage to retirement at immigration when your current extension is near ending.

You would need proof of 800k baht in a Thai bank for 3 months or proof of 65k baht income or a combination of the 2 totaling 800k baht on the date you apply.

You wife may need to be with you to confirm she is aware you changing to a retirement extension. No special forms or paperwork is needed.

A police and medical certificate is not required to apply for a extension of stay (it is not a visa) based upon retirement at immigration.

Those are only needed to apply for OA visa at a embassy or official Thai consulate.
