pattayapip
I have one of those large Stainless Steel Water Filters about 4 foot high, was just changing the filter media, but have ripped one of the sealing gaskets, tank is like picture, rubber gasket maybe 5mm and 6" diameter, any idea where i could buy one ? or make one from some rubber ? worgeordie
If not ripped too badly ,I would just put some silicone sealer around the fitting put the seal back on some more sealer on top,you will not need much.and tighten it up ,let sealer go off before refilling with water, better if you can get a replacement seal though, check where you bought them. regards Worgeordie

gk10002000
go to a good automotive or marine store. There are many "gasket" making materials you can buy that come in a tube. Apparently some of the RTV sealants are FDA approved for food and water.
tutsiwarrior
some places have got sheets of gasket material and you can cut one yourself...I find that the small 'mom and pop' hardware stores near your local talaat are useful for this purpose...also for 'O' rings, they usually got them loose in a box with different sizes... much handier than places like homepro and etc...in those places if the item is not in a package with a barcode then they won't stock it...
